Job Description

Our client, one of the largest line pipe distributors in the United States, is seeking a reliable and motivated Pipe yard Helper.

Responsibilities

Assist in loading/unloading pipe from trucks or other transport vehicles
Install strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage during transit
Perform painting, stenciling, sandblasting, and coating of pipes
Crosstrain on alternate assignments and help in other work areas as needed
Maintain clean and organized work area

Qualifications and Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required
Prior experience working in a pipe yard is a must
Ability to lift and stack items weighing up to 50 lbs
Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, rain)
Able to follow both verbal and hand signal instructions for pipe movement
Must pass all pre-employment screenings
