Job Description

The Receiving Supervisor leads day-to-day operational activities in the receiving department. They will ensure material is verified, received, and stocked, while effectively delegating workloads. All while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities:

Ensure all department equipment is in proper working condition (forklifts, pickers, crane, hand tools, etc.)
Supports Inbound traffic by efficiently unloading material in a timely manner.
Effectively trains personnel on company processes and procedures, submits training records, and identifies areas that need additional training.
Manages receiving personnel on unloading, sorting, verification, and stocking processes.
Effectively organizes and manages a team of 7 to 10 employees.

Qualifications and Requirements:

3+ years of receiving experience in a supervisor role, PVF industry preferred
High school diploma or GED
Ability to operate a variety of equipment, forklift and cherry pickers
Ability to read and understand industry specifications, charts and tables
Basic computer skills. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

The base salary range for this position is $28-$31 per hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
