The Manufacturing Maintenance Technician is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing all mechanical equipment and surrounding facilities independently, without supervision or assistance. This is a DIRECT HIRE Opportunity and must have manufacturing experience. 

Pay rate: $23.61 - $31.20 based on experience

 Manufacturing Maintenance Technician Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Follow all safety, food safety, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) rules and regulations.
• Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions, including down to circuit board level.
• Troubleshoot and restore equipment to “like new” condition when required.
• Install and dismantle machinery and equipment.
• Overhaul machinery, including teardown and part replacement.
• Operate mechanical equipment to diagnose and determine necessary repairs.
• Use hand tools to repair equipment and building structures.
• Perform general building maintenance and repair tasks.
• Conduct preventative maintenance such as greasing and oiling machinery.
• Apply strong technical and critical thinking skills in all tasks.
• Provide personal hand tools and toolbox.

Manufacturing Maintenance Technician Role:
• Ensure safe execution of all tasks and compliance with established procedures.
• Responsible for maintaining food safety and quality standards. Report any food safety/quality issues to appropriate personnel if not immediately resolvable.

Manufacturing Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of industrial, mechanical, or electrical trade school OR
• 5+ years of experience as a maintenance mechanic or electrician in a manufacturing environment.
• Must attend job-related training sessions to build skills and confidence.

Manufacturing Maintenance Technician Work Environment:
• Typically moderate noise levels.
• Must adhere to company rules, regulations, and GMPs.
