Technical Support Representative

Penmac Staffing is hiring a Technical Support Representative for a leading security technology company in Springfield, MO. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with technology and helping others solve problems. No prior technical experience is required—just confidence and interest in learning!

Responsibilities:

Answer inbound technical support calls from field technicians.
Work with callers to troubleshoot and identify root causes of technical issues.
Follow established procedures to resolve problems or escalate as needed.
Complete training and monitored call periods before handling calls independently.

Requirements:

Interest in technology and ability to learn quickly.
Experience with technology is preferred
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Reliable and detail-oriented.

Schedule and Pay

Pay: $18/hour
Training: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM for 4–6 weeks (one-on-one training).
After training: monitored calls for 5–6 weeks, then assigned a shift between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Shifts remain consistent once assigned.
