Order Picker

Penmac Staffing is currently seeking a Order Picker for a Medical Warehouse in Springfield Mo.
This is a Temp-To-Hire Positions accruing approximately 40 Hours per week. Some overtime may be required.

Job Summary:

The Material Handler I is responsible for providing the highest level of accuracy within each aspect of customer order fulfillment. This includes, but is not limited to, receiving product, stocking/replenishment, product selection, routing completed orders to the appropriate trailer, and maintaining a safe work environment. Utilization of computers will apply.

Job Responsibilities:

Attitude: Effectively practices and promotes teamwork in all duties. Actions are consistent with objectives and goals for department, distribution center, and health system. Remembers that patients are at the end of our supply chain.
Quality of Work: Performs duties in a manner that ensures inventory accuracy throughout the health system. Verifies products, quantities, and ensures label integrity.
Provides notification of item maintenance when required. Actual accuracy performance consistent with established standards for a Materials Handler I.
Quantity of Work: Consistently produces work volumes relative to established standards for a Materials Handler I.
Job Knowledge: Knowledge of products and procedures relative to job duties, distribution center, pharmaceutical repackaging, and health system operations.
Judgement: Makes decisions based upon job knowledge and experience. Considers all impacted areas in decision process. Seeks advice where applicable. Judgement sensible and reliable.
Dependability & Empowerment: Completion of assignments without follow up. Ability to identify, adapt, and pursue priorities. Provides proper communication of unresolved issues in a timely manner.
Industry: Utilizes available work hours effectively. Actively seeks other tasks upon completion.
Personal Appearance: Wears clothing and Health System badge consistent with dress code. Attends to personal hygiene to maintain a clean, well-groomed appearance
Safety: Observes universal precautions consistently. Wears proper personal protective equipment when appropriate. Plays a daily part of maintaining a safe work environment.
Attendance: Adheres to Health System attendance standards. Provides advanced notification of absence where possible.

Requirements:

HSD/GED
Must pass Pre-Employment testing
Must pass a drug screen and criminal background check.

Qualifications:

Must be a service-oriented person with background in purchasing and an aptitude in computer and warehouse procedures
Proficient with forklift and picker equipment preferred but not required.
Must have excellent communication skills and be able to follow oral and written directions
Proven attention to detail, particularly numbers, required
Possess the ability to work in a team environment
High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Typing and general computer familiarity, to include data entry, helpful

Pay

$16.50 Per Hour

Schedule:

Sunday 8:30 AM-Done
Monday-Friday 9:00 A.M.-Done
