Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare, produce, and package blend materials.
- Maintain blend equipment and warehouse cleanliness.
- Screen, blend, and package a variety of amino acids, vitamins, and minerals, including allergenic substances.
- Perform proper cleaning, blending, packaging, and material inspection of the warehouse and manufacturing equipment, including routine maintenance per Standard Operating Procedures.
- Physically load and unload boxes and drums of material onto and from vehicles.
- Perform retention sampling on products in sterile conditions.
- Follow company safety procedures and consistently maintain a sanitary work environment.
- Safely use pallet jacks and forklifts to move materials in and out of blending rooms and when loading/unloading mezzanines.
- Lift up to 55 lbs continuously and work with amino acids, vitamins, fine chemicals in powder and liquid form, as well as allergen products.
- Communicate clearly in written and verbal forms.
- Follow directions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while working with minimal supervision.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
Requirements for the Manufacturing Technician:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
- Previous manufacturing or forklift experience.
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
- Willingness to submit to a drug screen and criminal background check.
- Ability to wear a respirator while working in certain areas.
Work Schedule:
- 1st shift: 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
Pay Rate:
- $17.65 per hour with shift differential.
Additional Information:
- Temp-to-hire opportunity.
- Dress code: Long pants. Rubber boots, lab coat, hair net, beard net, hard hat, and additional PPE will be provided. Must be able to wear a respirator.
