Position Overview
Penmac Staffing is hiring Material Handlers / General Labor Associates to support a federally regulated manufacturing facility in Independence, MO. This role involves hands-on work in material handling, packaging, shipping, and general production tasks. The assignment is expected to last about six months, with the possibility of extension or temp-to-hire based on performance and business needs.

Responsibilities for the Material Handler / General Labor Associate
Due to federal regulations, all workers must present one of the following to enter the facility:
- Perform general labor tasks in a manufacturing environment
- Package, label, and prepare products for shipment
- Move, stage, and organize materials and finished goods
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities
- Follow written instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40–50 lbs as needed
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Must meet all facility access requirements
Due to federal regulations, all workers must present one of the following to enter the facility:
- A valid REAL ID, OR
- A valid photo ID and an original or certified birth certificate
