Riveter

A local company is looking for Riveters on 1st shift, the work schedule is Monday-Thursday, 6AM-4:30PM with overtime as needed on Friday.

Pay for this position is $20.13/hr.

Employees of this class are expected to work with some degree of independence and motivation. This individual will be using hand tools and measuring devices to assemble aluminum boats. This individual must be able to follow instructions and work well with others.

Essential Job Functions:

Observe and follow all safety rules and proper use personal protective equipment.
Perform housekeeping daily to maintain a safe work environment.
Use of some power tools such as drills, air hammers, pop riveters, grinders, and sanders.
Read measuring devices such as tape measures and squares.
Basic knowledge of operating power tools.
Responsible for the quality of the work you do.
Work quick under pressure and able to work overtime.
Work in a noisy environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Observe all safety rules in performance of duties.
Ability to understand and follow instructions.
Need basic knowledge of how to assemble things.
Must be able to stand, bend, and stoop for long periods of time.
Capable of working in a loud environment.
Must be able to lift to 50 pounds.
Must be able to use hands and wrists frequently.
Must be able to work safely.
Must be able to work in a warm environment of up to 100 degrees or over.
Capable of getting in and out of boats.

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
