The Export Coordinator plays a key role in managing documentation and logistics for international shipments. This position ensures compliance with export regulations, maintains communication between customers and agencies such as the USDA, and supports the accuracy and timeliness of all export-related processes in a cold storage environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate all aspects of export documentation, including scheduling and compliance with international customs regulations
Prepare and process shipping documents (e.g., commercial invoices, bills of lading)
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely picking, packing, and labeling of outbound goods
Communicate with customs brokers and agencies to ensure smooth clearance and documentation submission
Maintain accurate shipping records, databases, and tracking systems
Troubleshoot shipping issues such as delays or discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions
Stay informed on international trade regulations and recommend process improvements
Requirements:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Prior experience in export coordination or logistics is preferred
Familiarity with international shipping procedures and customs documentation
Ability to communicate effectively with multiple departments and external contacts
Proficiency with documentation software, databases, and basic computer tools
Ability to work in a cold storage environment as needed
Pay Rate:
$17-$35/hr Based on Experience
