We're seeking Industrial Millwrights to join our client, a leader in the automotive industry. As a Millwright, you'll ensure optimal equipment performance, minimize downtime, and support continuous improvement initiatives, working closely with the maintenance, production, and engineering teams to maintain a safe and efficient manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do:
- Install, assemble, and align mechanical components, machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
- Conduct routine inspections and ensure equipment operates at peak efficiency.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve machine reliability and efficiency.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Document maintenance activities and generate reports as required.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability.
- Comply with all regulatory requirements, including workplace safety and environmental policies.
What We’re Looking For:
- Licensed Industrial Millwright (433A) in Ontario.
- Experience in the automotive sector is an asset.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an automotive or heavy manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with expertise in hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and gear systems.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Experience with welding, machining, and fabricating components is an asset.
- Knowledge of predictive maintenance tools such as vibration analysis and thermography.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools for mechanical repairs.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and PLC troubleshooting is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is an asset.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and overtime if required.
