- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, shipping, or inventory management, including supervisory experience.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory systems, and logistics best practices.
- Proficiency with inventory software and Microsoft Office (Excel in particular).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment.
- Forklift certification (preferred or required based on facility needs).

Job Summary: Responsible for proper operation of the shipping department, preparing the loads for each route, loading trucks, and maintaining the warehouse clean and in order in an efficient manner while following Company rules. Responsible to manage employees and maintain food safety requirements pertaining to SQF, GMP and any other legal or legislative rules and / or regulations. Performs other tasks as assigned by the Plant Manager. - Must be able to ensure that all your employees have consistent and punctual attendance each scheduled workday. In addition, must verify that all employees report to work fit for duty and sustain fitness throughout the day.
- Responsible for adherence to food safety requirements pertaining to BRC, AIB, GMP and all other legal or legislative rules and / or regulations that apply.
- Performs various functions and duties following written or verbal instructions from the Plant Manager or other managers.
- Must have good knowledge of Outlook, EXCEL, WORD, and other shipping and receiving software.
- Using a Bill of Lading, pulls product from the freezer and prepares shipping orders for customers.
- Certifies accuracy of the goods leaving the premises.
- Inspects condition of product cases to assure only undamaged product is loaded.
- Must ensure the correct quantities of finished product along with the cases on a pallet in the proper pallet pattern.
- Verifies count of product loaded and fill out appropriate paperwork.
- Maintains work area and equipment to company and sanitary standards.
- Abides by Company safety rules and performs duties in a safe manner at all times.
- Possess forklift certification and follows all safety rules related to forklift operation.
- Performs any and all other duties as assigned.
