- Schedule: Mon-Fri 1:00pm- 10:00pm

Requirements of position |
|
|
|
|
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related scientific field.
- 1–3 years of experience in a quality control laboratory, preferably in cosmetic, pharmaceutical, or personal care manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of analytical chemistry and laboratory best practices.
- Proficiency with laboratory instrumentation (e.g., HPLC, FTIR, GC).
- Familiarity with GMP, GLP, and regulatory compliance in cosmetics or pharmaceuticals.
- Computer skills, including MS Office and LIMS software.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and documentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Lab environment with routine exposure to chemicals and lab equipment.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required.
- May require occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs), standing for long periods, and flexible scheduling based on production needs

Responsibilities of position |

|
|
|
- Perform analytical testing of raw materials, bulk formulations, and finished cosmetic products using wet chemistry and instrumental methods (e.g., pH, viscosity, HPLC, FTIR, GC, UV-Vis).
- Conduct stability studies and assist in shelf-life determinations for new and existing products.
- Review and approve batch records, raw material specifications, and Certificates of Analysis (COAs).
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment according to SOPs and calibration schedules.
- Record, interpret, and report test results accurately and promptly.
- Investigate and document out-of-specification (OOS) results and deviations.
- Collaborate with R&D, Production, and QA teams to resolve quality issues and support product development.
- Ensure all testing is carried out in accordance with GMP, ISO, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain detailed laboratory notebooks and documentation for traceability and audit purposes.
- Assist with internal and external audits as required.
