Job Description:
- The Enterprise Application Support Specialist II will join the RDM host team in a fully remote capacity. This IT technical analyst role is responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and availability of live, customer-facing environments operating in a cloud-based, SaaS architecture.
- The environments include primarily Windows Server domain-based systems running MS SQL Enterprise databases, with proprietary image and transaction processing systems used in the financial industry. The infrastructure also includes Linux systems.
- This position requires flexibility to work on a weekly rotational schedule, as outlined below, and occasional weekend support may be needed. Candidates located outside Eastern Time (EST) must be willing to adjust to this schedule.
Rotational Schedule:
- Week 1: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM EST
- Week 2: 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM EST
- Week 3: 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM (+1) EST
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor production applications for performance and accuracy
- Collaborate with Development, QA, and Support teams to resolve issues
- Analyze data trends independently and report anomalies
- Maintain and support live production environments
- Participate in diagnosing issues and developing support tools
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in enterprise application support or technical operations, particularly in resolving time-sensitive, business-critical issues
- 3+ years of experience with current Microsoft Server platforms
- Strong expertise in MS SQL Server 2005+ (administration and programming) in a production environment
- 3+ years of experience with XML, HTTPS, MS .NET, and client-server architecture
- Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for software and network issues
- Experience with Linux Command Line Interface (CLI)
- Ability to document processes and procedures effectively
- Experience in network and systems administration
Preferred Qualifications:
- Programming experience is a strong plus
