Pay: $19.00 – $21.00 per hour (Based on experience)

Allegiance Staffing is hiring a Quality Inspector on behalf of a valued customer in Louisville, KY. This customer operates a metal stamping facility with an on-site tool and die shop, ensuring in-house support for maintenance and repairs. Position Overview:

The Quality Inspector will be responsible for inspecting parts and materials, verifying compliance with quality standards, and ensuring process accuracy on the production floor. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to read blueprints and use precise measuring tools, and willing to support continuous quality improvement initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare rejection notices and identify product defects
Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work instructions
Measure products using calipers, gauges, micrometers, and rulers
Ensure press operators follow setup sheets, route sheets, and inspection protocols
Provide coaching and corrective action on production line procedures
Record and report inspection and testing data
Assist with special assignments and quality improvement projects
Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications & Skills:

Keen eye for detail and accuracy
Proficient in basic computer programs: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
Ability to maintain excellent attendance and work independently
Willingness to learn quality inspection processes: CMM, ISO standards, dimensional checks
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings

Preferred Experience:

CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) experience preferred

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

Work is performed in a non-climate-controlled facility
Exposure to oil, grease, dust, fumes, and loud machinery
Must be able to:
- Lift/push/pull 10 to 50 lbs.
- Stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive motion for extended periods
- Work in dusty or dirty conditions near mechanical equipment
