Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Range: $85,000 – $100,000 DOE

Product Engineer Job Summary
• Support the design, development, and lifecycle management of mechanical and electromechanical products.
• Focus on valve systems used in oil & gas and refinery applications.
• Partner cross-functionally with sales, customer service, and manufacturing teams.
• Deliver technical solutions, support product improvements, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to provide technical support, quotations, and product recommendations based on customer application needs.
• Perform valve sizing and generate data sheets using flow calculations in accordance with API 520 and ANSI/ISA standards.
• Create and present product cut sheets including assembly drawings, dimensions, bills of material, and application data.
• Process Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), including design, dimensional, and material updates.
• Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) within ERP/MRP systems.
• Support product design, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement efforts in collaboration with the engineering team.
• Provide technical support to assembly, quality control, and supply chain teams, including component prints and material specifications.
• Develop and maintain part numbering systems and nomenclature.
• Create build and test procedures for manufacturing processes.
• Train internal teams on assigned product lines and technical applications.
• Contribute as a proactive, self-driven team member in a collaborative engineering environment.

Product Engineer Technical & Software Skills Required:
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD for product design and drafting.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems for BOM and engineering documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as ASME (Section I–XII), API 520, API 6A/6D/608, ANSI/ISA S75, and NACE MR0175.
• Knowledge of metallurgy and/or welding processes.

Product Engineer Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology (MET) required.
• 2–4 years of experience in oil & gas, refinery, or related industrial applications (upstream, midstream, or downstream).
• Hands-on application/design experience with one or more of the following: safety relief valves, rupture/buckling pin devices, control/dump valves, regulators, or chokes.
• Experience with engineering calculations, documentation, and product design in industrial environments.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a team-oriented environment.
• Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Oklahoma City area (onsite role).
