Pay: Starting at $75,000+ (Based on Experience)

Schedule: Monday–Friday

Qualified Staffing is hiring an IT Specialist for a silicone manufacturing company in Richmond, VA. This role provides technical support, maintains IT systems, and ensures employees have the tools needed to perform effectively.

What You’ll Do

Manage helpdesk tickets and provide technical support to end users
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
Set up new users, workstations, and equipment
Maintain and update IT documentation and procedures
Develop training materials and provide user support
Monitor and support daily network operations
Prioritize and manage multiple IT requests
Collaborate with internal IT teams and external vendors
Assist with system maintenance and updates
Communicate clearly with users on issue status
Support IT projects and initiatives
Perform other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

IT-related degree or equivalent experience
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows environments
Experience with Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and domains
Understanding of networking (LAN, WAN, VPNs, firewalls)
Experience with Office 365 and business applications
Ability to troubleshoot PCs, laptops, and peripherals
Familiarity with Wi-Fi networks and access points
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage priorities
Strong communication skills
Willingness to learn and grow
FortiGate firewall experience is a plus
