Position Summary

The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, load, unload, and store materials within the warehouse, production, or distribution facility. This role supports efficient operations while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operate forklifts, reach truck and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently
Load, unload, move, stack, and stage materials and products
Inspect forklifts before and after use and report maintenance or safety issues
Verify product quantities, labels, and documentation
Transport materials to designated locations according to work orders
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
Follow all safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and company policies
Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred
Valid forklift certification Osha or Pic Card
Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
Previous forklift, reach truck or warehouse experience preferred
Ability to read and understand work orders, labels, and safety instructions
Basic math and record-keeping skills
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
Ability to work in warehouse conditions, including heat, cold, and noise

Work Schedule/Pay

Full-time
7:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M. or 2:00 P.M. – 10:30 P.M.
Pay $18.00 - $20.00
