Cardinal Staffing is looking for an energetic Territory Sales Manager to take charge of sales for automotive air filtration products in the Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan markets. What You'll Be Doing:
- Own Your Territory: Manage and grow a defined sales territory, including Toledo, Northwest Ohio, and surrounding regions.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with automotive retailers, parts stores, and distributors, becoming their trusted partner in air filtration solutions.
- Drive Sales Growth: Identify new opportunities and expand existing accounts to meet ambitious revenue targets.
- Promote & Educate: Conduct regular face-to-face visits with customers to promote our air filtration products, explain their benefits, and secure orders.
- Strategic Presentations: Present product value, promotions, and merchandising strategies to retail partners, driving increased product visibility and sales.
- Market Intelligence: Stay on top of industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs, adapting strategies to stay ahead.
- Collaborative Success: Work closely with internal teams (operations, marketing, and supply chain) to ensure seamless product delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Achieve Excellence: Meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) through dedication and strategic planning.
What You Need to Succeed:
- Proven Automotive Sales Experience: At least 2+ years in outside sales within the automotive industry, preferably with experience selling filtration products (air, oil, cabin filters).
- Industry Connections: Strong network with automotive retailers or distributors in the automotive aftermarket.
- Sales-Driven Mindset: A demonstrated history of consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate, influence, and build lasting relationships with clients.
- Self-Starter: The ability to manage your territory independently while being self-motivated and goal-oriented.
- Valid Driver’s License: Willingness to travel extensively within your designated territory to visit clients and prospects.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Retail Experience: Previous experience working with national or regional retail chains (AutoZone, O’Reilly, Advance, NAPA, etc.) is a plus.
- Merchandising Know-How: Familiarity with inventory management, merchandising strategies, and driving retail sales.
- Tech-Savvy: Experience with CRM tools and the ability to analyze sales data to optimize performance.
