SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Machine Operators for a client in Elgin, IL. Machine Operators are responsible for operating manufacturing equipment. They are expected to start-up, operate, and shut down the machines in accordance with the manufacturing guidelines. 

SURESTAFF is invested in their team members!  All temp to hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($19/hr.) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).

Available shifts include:

-2nd shift: 2:00pm-10:30pm

-3rd shift: 10:00pm-6:30am

Responsibilities of the Machine Operator:
-Ensure the machine is clean and perform safety checks prior to starting. 

-Ensure the correct components, attachments or inputs such as film and cartons are correct for the product being run. 

-Validate machine outputs to meet quality standards, such as productions being appropriately sealed, filled, labeled, or packaged. 

-Leverage production system to document performance, weights, errors and downtime. 

-Monitor and refill any input items such as glue, cartons, or film. 

-Compete any necessary paperwork

-Stop machines in the event of a quality or safety concern. 

Qualifications of the Machine Operator:
-Bilingual, fluent in English and Spanish preferred

-Able to understand and execute instructions, both verbal and visual

-Red Zone/Fishbowl experience preferred

-Previous experience working in a warehouse, manufacturing, or machine operation environment preferred
