This is a production line position requiring physical labor, including prolonged standing, repetitive motions, and frequent heavy lifting. The role supports various aspects of the production process to ensure consistent output, quality, and workplace safety.
This production line position pay $15.00/hour with a $3.00/hour raise when hired on.
1st shift 7:00-3:30pm
2nd shift 3:15 - 11:45pm
Production Line Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment.
Conduct routine quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
Follow established procedures to meet production targets.
Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment or operational issues.
Coordinate the usage of materials and packaging supplies.
Record and report production data accurately and timely.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Collaborate with team members to maximize operational efficiency.
Adhere to all safety protocols and company regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Production Line Specific Task Assignments:
Empty Boxes: Load cardboard boxes containing plastic bottles onto the conveyor line in the correct orientation.
Empty Bottles: Remove empty bottles from boxes and place them onto the filler conveyor line.
Packer: Manually pack finished bottles into designated boxes.
Palletizer: Stack finished cases onto pallets according to specified patterns.
General Housekeeping: Clean assigned areas during line downtimes and assist on other lines as needed.
Create 2-Pack Boxes: Fold and tape boxes, insert cardboard dividers, stack them on pallets, and apply loose plastic wrap for stability during line downtimes.
Drum Truck Unloading: Unload approximately 300 drums (32 lbs each) from a semi-truck 2–3 times weekly. Drums are double-stacked on pallets and relocated with a forklift.
Production Line Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Basic understanding of production processes and machinery.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move heavy objects.
Willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Familiarity with workplace safety standards and procedures.
