Concessions Manager
We are seeking an organized and energetic Concessions Manager to oversee all concession operations at a high-volume entertainment and event venue in Staten Island. This role is responsible for managing daily food and beverage concession services, supervising staff, maintaining inventory controls, and delivering an exceptional guest experience during events and peak service periods.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader with experience in hospitality, food service, or venue operations who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Oversee all daily concession stand operations during events and venue activities
Hire, train, schedule, and supervise concession staff
Ensure fast, friendly, and efficient guest service at all concession locations
Monitor inventory levels, product ordering, and stock rotation
Maintain proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards
Manage cash handling procedures, sales reporting, and reconciliation
Work closely with culinary, operations, and event teams to ensure seamless execution
Control labor and food costs while maximizing operational efficiency
Address guest concerns and resolve service issues professionally
Ensure concession areas remain clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout service
Qualifications
Previous concessions, food service, restaurant, or venue management experience preferred
Strong leadership and team development skills
Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in high-volume settings
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
Experience with inventory management and cost controls
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
