*This is a temporary position that will last through August 2025*
Pay is $18-$28 per hour based on experience
A typical day at work:
- Hand TIG weld dissimilar metals
- Insert fittings into jig to hold fittings in piping in proper orientation
- Weld using MIG and TIG welding with the ability to repair leaks
- Operate test station to identify any leaks and repair as needed
- Operate a tube bending machine to bend piping of various sizes
- Weld tubing onto fittings used for dip tubes
- Desire to perform at the highest level of competence and expedience at all times
- Conscientious of product quality and productivity to promote the growth of HTP, INC.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible to ensure good welding practices are adhered to
- Inspects completed piece to ensure it meets all quality standards and specifications
- Communicates with fellow workers and superiors to maintain safety and quality
- Suggests production and quality improvement ideas to the supervisor
- Maintains tools and equipment in good working order
- Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment by following company safety policies and procedures by wearing all safety personal protective equipment “PPE” at all times
Technical Expertise:
- A thorough understanding of proper welding practices
- Ability to set-up computerized machines
- Ability to operate various types of bending and flaring and shaping equipment
