Our client, a leader in design, development and manufacture of innovative aerospace systems, has an immediate need for a Communications Specialist I to join their Employee and Executive Communication teams. This is a 12+ month contract assignment (hybrid) based in Broomfield, CO.
Communications Specialist I – Employee & Executive Communications
In this role, you will inform and engage client employees by working with subject matter experts to write and disseminate strategic and engaging employee communications and update various internal platforms.
What You’ll Do:
- Write, format, edit and disseminate communications on a variety of internal channels on multiple platforms, including emails, articles, newsletters, intranet, digital signage, scripts, slides, presentations, and more.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts across the company to draft communications plans for a variety of channels and audiences.
- Seek understanding of our business, missions, capabilities, strategies, culture, and brand to better support internal communications.
- Consider employee perspectives and impacts to draft communications plans about events, changes, process updates, policies, people, and culture.
- Support communications for the Operations department (or other as assigned), to include IT, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Security, Facilities, and more.
- Develop slides to help leaders flow down content, pulling information from across our internal platforms.
- Draft communications plans for all internal events.
- Update communications channels for relevance and accuracy with strong attention to detail.
- Manage a variety of assigned projects and communication timelines to ensure all campaigns, events and projects are executed on time
- Strategically consult with teams across the business to help get their messages out to the business in alignment with Employee & Executive Communications-led best practices
- Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site three or more days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.
Working Conditions:
- Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Each higher-level degree, i.e., Associate’s, Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for additional years of experience.

Pay Information
Hourly Range: $30.00-$32.00/HR

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
