Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical/Electrical Assembler to join our team in the fabrication of industrial control panels. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical components according to schematic diagrams and blueprints. Your expertise with power tools, hand tools, and precision instruments will be essential in ensuring the quality and functionality of our control panels.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret and follow schematic diagrams, blueprints, and written instructions to assemble control panels.
Perform mechanical assembly, including drilling, tapping, and mounting components using power tools and hand tools.
Wire control panels based on electrical schematics, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety standards.
Test assembled panels for functionality and troubleshoot any issues that arise during testing.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company safety protocols and procedures.
Collaborate effectively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Requirements:
Proven experience in mechanical and electrical assembly, particularly in the fabrication of industrial control panels.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematic diagrams and blueprints.
Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and measuring instruments used in assembly processes.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
Commitment to workplace safety and compliance with safety regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical certification or vocational training in electrical or mechanical assembly.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Knowledge of basic electrical principles and wiring techniques.
Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and resolve technical issues.
