Manual Machinist

Join a well-established machining company in Minneapolis, MN as a manual machinist! This position offers steady hours, a clean and organized shop, and the opportunity to work with a wide variety of manual machines while producing high-quality parts.

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Wage: $27 - $40 per hour, depending on experience

Hours: Monday - Friday | 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

Duties of the manual machinist:

Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, and grinders
Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T
Measure and inspect parts to meet quality standards
Set up manual mills and lathes, including chucks, tooling, attachments, and fixturing
Work with metals including steel, brass, and aluminum

Requirements of the manual machinist:

Degree or trade school certification in machining or related field
Minimum 2 years of recent manual machining experience
Proficient with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
Knowledge of fluids, hydraulics, and tooling setup
Pass background check, drug test, and E-Verify
