OVERVIEW
- We’re seeking a detail-oriented Billing Coordinator to support the day-to-day financial operations of our global Streaming User Acquisition team. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial tracking, timely invoice processing, and seamless coordination between internal stakeholders and external media vendors.
- This opportunity sits within the Marketing Acquisition and Campaign Services function, which operates as an internal media agency supporting multiple international markets.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain the billing tracker and related financial documents for the team
- Review and process media invoices for digital advertising campaigns
- Monitor media spend across acquisition campaigns, ensuring timely receipt and reconciliation of vendor invoices
- Establish and manage strong working relationships with internal billing contacts and external vendors
- Document billing and invoicing processes to account for vendor-specific nuances and requirements
- Use internal billing and vendor systems, including SAP or similar platforms
- Resolve discrepancies with vendors and clients efficiently and professionally
- Conduct monthly meetings with media planners/buyers to confirm and submit spend reports to Finance
- Collaborate with internal Finance and cross-functional teams to address and prevent invoicing issues
- Manage specific client billing deadlines and requirements with attention to detail
- Respond promptly to all inquiries to ensure smooth operations and prevent escalations
- Liaise regularly with Financial Planning & Analysis to ensure accurate and timely reporting
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- 2–5 years of experience in billing, preferably within an agency or media/entertainment environment
- Familiarity with invoice processing systems and accounts payable processes required
- Experience with campaign management tools (e.g., MediaOcean’s Prisma) is a plus
- Understanding of ad-serving and media buying platforms, such as:
- Google Campaign Manager
- Demand Side Platforms (DV360, The Trade Desk)
- Facebook Business Manager, Twitter Ads Manager, etc.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables required)
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines under pressure
- Able to lead meetings independently and communicate clearly with stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Proactive collaborator across cross-functional teams
