Position: Material Handler 1

Hours: M-Th 6:00am - 3:15pm, Fri 6:00am - 12:00pm

Starting Pay: $15.50 - $18.50 Per Hour

Summary:
Serve as a materials resource in all phases of the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities/ Principal Duties:

Receive and inventory all incoming shipments.
Confirm all incoming parts by verifying MRP part number matches manufacturing part number.
Verify & document all parts and enter data into MRP system.
Utilize reel counters and scales as needed to confirm part counts.
Reject received damaged material, incorrect part numbers, etc. following the SOP for non-conforming parts.
Package final assembled product for shipment per shipping requirements form.
Apply labels to boxes as required.
File documents such as travelers and packing slips.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Work is performed in a climate controlled manufacturing environment with frequent contact with others. Job requires prolonged sitting, standing and frequent bending, stooping and stretching. Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: Two years' experience in a material handling position. Will train the right candidate who does not have the preferred experience.

Physical/Cognitive Requirements: Work is performed in a climate controlled manufacturing environment with frequent contact with others. Job requires prolonged sitting, standing and frequent bending, stooping and stretching, and lifting of materials.

Equipment: Knowledge of and skills in the use of counting equipment (counting scales and reel counters) and various component prepping machines.
