Position: Material Handler 1
HoursM-Th 6:00am - 3:15pm, Fri 6:00am - 12:00pm
Starting Pay$15.50 - $18.50 Per Hour
Summary:
Serve as a materials resource in all phases of the manufacturing process.
 Responsibilities/ Principal Duties:
  • Receive and inventory all incoming shipments.
  • Confirm all incoming parts by verifying MRP part number matches manufacturing part number.
  • Verify & document all parts and enter data into MRP system.
  • Utilize reel counters and scales as needed to confirm part counts.
  • Reject received damaged material, incorrect part numbers, etc. following the SOP for non-conforming parts.
  • Package final assembled product for shipment per shipping requirements form.
  • Apply labels to boxes as required.
  • File documents such as travelers and packing slips.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Work is performed in a climate controlled manufacturing environment with frequent contact with others. Job requires prolonged sitting, standing and frequent bending, stooping and stretching. Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: Two years' experience in a material handling position. Will train the right candidate who does not have the preferred experience. 
Physical/Cognitive Requirements: Work is performed in a climate controlled manufacturing environment with frequent contact with others.  Job requires prolonged sitting, standing and frequent bending, stooping and stretching, and lifting of materials.
Equipment: Knowledge of and skills in the use of counting equipment (counting scales and reel counters) and various component prepping machines.
