Structural Welders - $20 to $25 - West Tulsa

Company seeking Welders for all shifts

Pay: $20 - $28 hourly depending on experience

A successful candidate is a self-motivated multi-tasker that utilizes a strong work ethic to ensure all quality levels are met.

Ignites torches or starts power supplies and strikes arcs by touching electrodes to metals being welded, completing electrical circuits.

Detects faulty operation of equipment or defective materials and notifies supervisors.

Clamps, holds, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind or bolts component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding.

Operates manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments, using processes such as gas tungsten arc, gas metal arc, shielded metal arc welding.

Recognizes, set up, and operates hand and power tools common to the welding trade, such as shielded metal arc and gas metal arc welding equipment.

Interpret drawings and specifications, and perform essential duties and requirements of A.S.M.E. F/W-B, A.S.M.E. F/W-C, and A.S.M.E. F/W-D.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent required.

SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Must be alert and have good manual dexterity

Must possess good decision making attributes regarding Quality

Familiar with Pipeline systems, products and processes a plus

Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions

Good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to influence others positively.

Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions

Demonstrated ability to work as a team player.
