MBS is hiring an AWS Cloud Engineer II in Cincinnati, OH. This position is full-time, temp to hire opportunity.

FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Hands-on role using AWS (Lambda, Bedrock, SageMaker, Step Functions, DynamoDB, S3).
Responsible for the implementation of AWS cloud services including infrastructure, machine learning, and artificial intelligence platform services.
Experience with LLM-based applications, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) using LangChain and other frameworks.
Develop cloud-native microservices, APIs, and serverless functions to support intelligent automation and real-time data processing.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business goals and translate them into secure, scalable AI systems.
Own the software release lifecycle, including CI/CD pipelines, GitHub-based SDLC, and infrastructure as code (Terraform).
Support the development and evolution of reusable platform components for AI/ML operations.
Create and maintain technical documentation for the team to reference and share with our internal customers.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

REQUIREMENTS

7+ years of Python-focused software engineering experience.
Proficient with AWS services (Bedrock, SageMaker) and AWS org/policy management (SCP, Config).
Experience in fine-tuning LLMs, dataset development, and ML model deployment.
Skilled in RAG architectures, LangChain, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
Strong Git/DevOps background; familiar with CI/CD pipelines and code reviews.
Experience with Policy as Code (e.g., Terraform Sentinel).
Familiarity with Hugging Face, Golang, Node.js, and FinOps/cloud cost optimization.
Data science experience with structured/unstructured data; privacy-aware (PII, compliance).
Agile and DevOps methodology experience.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
AWS or equivalent cloud certifications preferred; advanced training a plus.
Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
Ability to move or lift up to 50+ lbs.
Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel.
Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination.
Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time
