3rd Shift Maintenance Tech 

Debbie’s Staffing is now recruiting for Maintenance Tech for our client located in Rural Hall, NC!

Schedule: Monday – Friday 10pm – 6am plus overtime during the week and weekends.
 
Pay: $27.50 per hour, Long-Term, Weekly Pay!

Job Summary: Responsible for general maintenance, repair and service of electro-mechanical equipment, utilities equipment and service equipment. Must be multi-skilled and able to perform a variety of duties involving trouble shooting mechanical/electrical problems of powered equipment and conveyor system. Responsible for general maintenance of equipment in the Distribution Center. Adheres to accepted analytical principles in determining proper course of action before making repairs. Performs preventative maintenance on DC equipment and conveyors.    
 
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Troubleshoot and analyze any hardware and wiring problems.
• Follow up and resolve issues.
• Responsible for assigned PM duties.
• Report results of problems / issues to DC Management.
• Will be first point of contact for problems with any equipment or conveyors.
• Maintain hardware/parts inventory.
• Must be on call for any system failure.
• Lubricate and check belts, motors, etc. on conveyors.
• Repair flow racks
• Clean, maintain and repair all DC tape machines
• Clean, maintain and repair printers and automatic labeling equipment.
• Clean, maintain and repair automatic wrapping machines.
• Clean, maintain and repair case sort conveyor system.
• Perform simple maintenance and repairs on powered equipment including Lift truck and  riding jacks.
• Perform any general P.M. and repair to semi-automatic bagging machines.
• Understand machine principles and relative motions so that proper machine settings can 
be achieved and maintained.
• Understand principles of pneumatic power equipment.
• Maintain all DC Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
• Responsible for all safety signs, lift area, eye wash stations and all general DC safety 
   items.
• Must be licensed to operate scissor lift.
• Repair machine malfunctions in an expedient manner using approved methods so as to 
maximize productivity and quality.
• Employee is responsible for safety that includes following all safety rules and following 
proper Lock Out Tag Out Procedures.
• Perform other duties assigned.
 
REQUIREMENTS:

• Read, write, add subtract, multiply and divide – understand implied instructions. 
 Excellent attendance is required.
• Job related knowledge should include the ability to work with, trouble shoot and repair 
    switches, photo-cells, air valves, motors, and industrial pneumatics
• Ability to learn and comprehend distribution/production business is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Job related knowledge should include receiving processes.
• Ability to use RF scanner. 
• Good communication skills.
• Good working relationship with peers needed.
• Must have the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and be able to work under stress.
• Must be able to work safely in a fast-paced team environment.
• Must be able to operate a manual pallet jack.
• Must be able to work safely in a fast-paced team environment.
