Accounting Manager

In this Accounting Manager job, you’ll be responsible for:

Overseeing all accounting functions including AP, AR, G/L, cost accounting, and financial reporting
Preparing monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
Developing budgets and forecasts to support business growth
Managing multi-state sales and use tax filings and government compliance
Acting as liaison with external CPA for corporate tax returns and audits
Leading banking relationships, wire transactions, and reconciliations
Safeguarding company assets and ensuring accurate fixed asset accounting
Using advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and formulas, for reporting and analysis
Working within the BAAN legacy ERP system

What you’ll need:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in general accounting; manufacturing or distribution environment a plus
Strong knowledge of US GAAP, budgeting, and internal controls
Proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivot tables)
Experience with multi-state tax compliance
Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
