What your day will look like:

Oversee the complete revenue cycle process, including patient registration, insurance verification, billing, and collections
Review and verify claims for accuracy and regulatory compliance before submission
Follow up on unpaid claims, addressing discrepancies and resolving billing issues
Coordinate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to ensure prompt payments
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient accounts and financial transactions
Prepare reports on revenue cycle performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement
Keep up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in revenue cycle management

What we are looking for:

Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
Prior experience in revenue cycle management or medical billing is a strong asset
In-depth knowledge of healthcare insurance policies and procedures
Excellent analytical abilities with keen attention to detail
Skilled in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and billing software
Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interactions with patients, providers, and insurance representatives
