Spot Welder

APEX Placement and Consulting has partnered with an exciting company in Sterling Heights, MI looking to add a Spot Welder to their already amazing team. Their primary responsibility will be to build and fix parts using tools, following instructions, and working safely in a busy factory. Keep reading for more details!

Competitive hourly rate depending on experience - $18.00-$20.00 hourly
Contract-to-hire position - you'll be hired based on attendance, performance and client needs

What your day will look like:

Assemble parts and components following blueprints and specifications
Utilize power and hand tools to fabricate and modify parts as required
Perform welding and soldering to complete product assembly
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
Perform basic quality and functional testing
Properly store raw materials and finished goods in the warehouse
Package products securely for shipment
Maintain a clean and organized workspace and equipment

What we are looking for:

Knowledgeable in welding and soldering techniques
Skilled in using both power and hand tools for fabrication and modification
Familiar with airless paint spraying and automotive painting methods; experience with auto restoration is a plus
Able to accurately read blueprints
