Position Summary:
The Bar Manager is responsible for overseeing all bar operations within a high-volume, upscale dining and nightlife environment. This role ensures exceptional guest experiences, strong beverage program execution, and effective team leadership while maintaining profitability, consistency, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead daily bar operations, ensuring smooth service, high-quality beverage execution, and efficient workflow
Supervise, train, and develop bartenders, barbacks, and support staff to maintain strong performance standards
Maintain a high level of guest engagement, ensuring an elevated and welcoming bar experience
Oversee beverage inventory, ordering, receiving, and stock control to manage costs and minimize waste
Develop and enforce standard recipes, portion control, and presentation guidelines for all beverages
Monitor labor, beverage costs, and overall bar profitability to meet financial targets
Ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws, health codes, and safety regulations
Create and maintain bar schedules to align with business volume and staffing needs
Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house leadership to ensure seamless service coordination
Handle guest feedback and resolve issues professionally and promptly

Qualifications:

3–5 years of bar management or supervisory experience in a high-volume or upscale hospitality environment
Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and beverage cost control
Proven leadership and team development skills
Excellent communication and guest service abilities
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
