Job Summary

The Safety Specialist supports operations by implementing, monitoring, and enforcing workplace safety programs to ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards. This role is essential in maintaining a safe work environment through inspections, risk assessments, and continuous safety improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain a safe working environment by promoting proper safety practices across all operations
Ensure full compliance with OSHA regulations and internal safety policies
Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
Identify hazards and implement corrective and preventive actions
Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) on a daily basis
Partner with operations leadership to strengthen safety culture and accountability
Document safety activities, incidents, and compliance records

Required Experience

Minimum 2+ years of experience in workplace safety, EHS, or a related field
Hands-on experience conducting safety inspections and risk assessments
Experience working with OSHA regulations and compliance standards

Nice-to-Have Experience

Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environments
Experience delivering safety training or onboarding programs
Experience with incident investigations and root cause analysis
