Manufacturing Team Lead

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Team Lead / Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations in a high-volume metal injection molding facility. This role is responsible for driving production efficiency, quality control, safety compliance, and team performance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Location: South San Antonio (Lackland & Hwy 90)
Pay: $22- $24.25/HR or DOE
Schedule: Full-Time | 12-hour shifts + mandatory weekends

Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a team of production associates
Oversee daily manufacturing operations and production schedules
Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and company policies
Monitor KPIs, production output, and quality metrics
Troubleshoot workflow issues to improve efficiency and productivity
Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and management teams
Train new hires on SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)

Minimum Requirements

1+ year of manufacturing leadership experience (Team Lead, Supervisor, Line Lead)
Background in production, assembly, or industrial manufacturing
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced environment
Ability to lift up to 50 LBS
Must pass drug screen & background check

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in metal injection molding, plastics, or CNC manufacturing
Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement
Experience with production reporting systems or ERP software
