Welder / Fitter: Hudson, Wisconsin

Our customer in Hudson, Wisconsin is looking for a hardworking, detail‑oriented individual to join their team as a Welder / Fitter to work full‑time on 1st shift. In this role, you will help ensure quality and precision in the fabrication process by fitting, welding, and finishing metal components to meet specifications.

Responsibilities of the Welder / Fitter:

Fit component parts together for welding based on blueprints and specifications.
Perform welding on various projects using available welding equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints to determine layout and weld locations.
Operate welding tools including stick, wire welders, and related equipment.
Perform grinding, deburring, and polishing to complete finished weldments.
Design and construct jigs or fixtures as needed.
Inspect completed work to verify quality and accuracy.
Maintain clean and organized work areas and follow all safety procedures.
Report any safety, quality, or equipment concerns to leadership.

Welder / Fitter Requirements and Qualifications:

2–3 years of welding experience required.
Ability to read blueprints and fit complex steel weldments.
Experience with Flux Core welding on ¼ inch material and thicker preferred.
Experience operating welding equipment, torch, grinders, saws, air arc, and drill press.
Experience using forklifts and overhead cranes preferred.
Must have steel‑toed boots.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay for Welder / Fitter: $22.00–$27.00/hour.
