This role is pivotal in processing patient transport requests, managing emergency calls, and coordinating critical communications between medical personnel and facilities.

Compensation & Growth

Starting Range: Up to $23.15/hr (Commensurate with experience)
Long-Term Potential: The position offers a growth ceiling of up to $32.01/hr. This maximum rate is the target for established employees achieved through continuous learning, internal advancement, and sustained professional development.

Key Responsibilities

Transport Coordination: Efficiently schedule and coordinate medically necessary and non-emergency patient transportation in accordance with established policies.
Emergency Call Processing: Receive and process emergency incoming calls, medical command reports, and hospital condition codes with high precision.
Clinical Communication: Facilitate medical command requests between paramedics and physicians, ensuring all data is accurately documented in the dispatch system.
Facility Monitoring: Monitor hospital alarm systems, address security requests, and perform hospital operator duties during overnight shifts.
System Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate records of all communications and transport logs within the specialized CAD system.

Mandatory Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Education: High school graduate or equivalent required.
Experience: Current or prior EMS or healthcare experience is required.
Licensure: Current EMT or Paramedic certification is required.
Technical Skills: Must possess strong computer skills and the ability to maintain accuracy while multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential for relaying critical medical information.
