Warehouse Associate 1st Shift

Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support our client’s warehouse operations in Indianapolis, IN. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the accurate movement, storage, shipping, and receiving of materials throughout the facility. The ideal candidate will have previous shipping and receiving experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to accurately match shipping and receiving documentation to inventory records while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.
Match shipping and receiving labels to inventory and ensure accurate product identification.
Prepare outgoing shipments by packaging, labeling, and staging materials for delivery.
Utilize basic computer systems to enter, track, and update inventory and shipment information.
Move materials throughout the facility using material handling equipment and manual methods as required.
Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.
Ensure materials are stored properly and organized within designated warehouse locations.
Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements to perform the job safely

Qualifications & Skills

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, or material handling required.
Basic computer skills with the ability to enter data and navigate inventory systems.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy when matching labels, inventory, and shipping documentation.
Ability to read and interpret shipping paperwork, packing slips, and inventory records.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required throughout the shift.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday.
Ability to safely lift and move materials in a warehouse environment.
Steel-toe shoes are required.

Employment Type & Compensation

This is a Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire position
Pay rate is $18.10 per hour
Application Window: Open until filled

Work Schedule

1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
