Slitter Machine Operator / Fiberglass Handler

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Slitter Machine Operator to support fiberglass manufacturing operations at our Grand Prairie, Texas facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a slitter machine to process fiberglass boards, as well as manually trimming end caps using hand tools. Attention to safety, accuracy with measurements, and comfort working with fiberglass materials are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a slitter machine to feed and process fiberglass boards.
Use hand tools (knife/blade) to cut fiberglass end caps at a designated work table.
Measure and verify board lengths using a tape measure to ensure accuracy.
Wear and maintain required PPE including lab coats, safety glasses, and masks.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
Follow all safety guidelines and manufacturing procedures.

Requirements:

Comfortable working with fiberglass (not allergic).
Able to read and use a tape measure accurately.
Must be able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Basic understanding of safe tool handling.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7-4pm

Pay: $20.00
