Receptionist - Part Time

Receptionist (Part Time): Freeport, Illinois

Our customer in Freeport, Illinois, is looking for a hardworking, detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Receptionist to work on 1st shift. This position will start part-time with the potential to move into a full-time role. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients and support daily front office operations.

Responsibilities of the Receptionist:

Greet patients, check them in, and provide a welcoming front office experience.
Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and respond to patient questions.
Verify patient and insurance information accurately.
Collect payments and co-pays, provide receipts, and balance the cash drawer.
Check patients out and schedule follow-up visits.
Enter and update patient information in the system.
Confirm upcoming appointments by phone or text.
Keep the front desk and waiting area clean, organized, and professional.
Assist with basic paperwork, filing, and administrative support as needed.

Receptionist Requirements and Qualifications:

Comfortable using Microsoft Office and basic computer systems.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to handle phone calls professionally, including difficult conversations.
Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask in a busy front desk environment.
Willingness to start part-time with flexibility to move into full-time hours.

Pay for Receptionist: $16.50/hour.
